Important Announcement Regarding Spectrum Orthopaedics
Spectrum Orthopaedics, the orthopaedic division of Spectrum Healthcare Partners (SHCP), will become Orthopaedic Associates of Maine (OAM) on February 1, 2025. Below please find important information about this transition:
- As of February 1, OAM will be an independent, single-specialty practice and will no longer be part of Spectrum Healthcare Partners.
- Spectrum and OAM have been working collaboratively to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruptions.
- Patients will continue to receive high quality orthopaedic care from the same physicians, providers, and support team.
- The surgery center in Portland and the orthopaedic practices in Brunswick, Portland, and Windham will continue to operate as they do today.
- Spectrum Healthcare Partners will continue to provide anesthesiology and radiology care to OAM patients.
Information for patients that have an appointment with Spectrum Orthopaedics
If you have an upcoming appointment there is no need to take any action.
- If your appointment is scheduled for after February 1, 20025, OAM will contact you if any changes are needed.
- Patient medical records will be transferred to Orthopaedic Associates of Maine to be maintained in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
