Spectrum Healthcare Partners Southern Anesthesiology Division has a growing team of 40+ established anesthesiologists who provide coverage to Maine Medical Center (MMC) in Portland, Maine. MMC, a 700-bed academic tertiary care hospital and the only level 1 trauma center in Maine, is also a teaching affiliate of Tufts University. MMC has active pediatric surgical subspecialties, a large cardiac and heart failure program, high-risk obstetrics, and growing residency and fellowship programs.

- Average shareholder compensation of $550,000
- 2-year shareholder track position – 1 year to shareholder pay
- Opportunity for additional time-based incentive compensation

Spectrum Healthcare Partners was established in 1996 with the merger of five Maine private practice anesthesia, radiology, and pathology groups. The goal was to create a physician-owned and physician-led private practice, and to help influence healthcare policy and healthcare delivery, while ensuring that the physician’s voice was at the center, and the emphasis on patient care. Spectrum has grown to include over 200 physicians and added specialties in radiation oncology and orthopaedics.
