Kathryn H. Hanna, MD

Dr. Hanna is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. She joined OA in 2016.

“Becoming a doctor was my childhood dream. I became an Orthopedic surgeon because I enjoy the challenges of restoring function to a patient’s arm and hand. There are so many parts to the upper extremity – bones, joints, tendons and muscles. Being able to restore function to the arm is critical for returning to work, sports and life. I spent 11 years in the United States Navy and there was nothing more rewarding than returning a young sailor or marine back to duty after a devastating injury. I understand the care and precision it takes to get all my patients back to what they love doing the most.”
