Physical Therapist

Heather Donohue, PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist with a clinical doctoral degree in physical therapy. She is certified in functional movement systems (FMS). Her clinical interests include rehabilitating athletic injuries to the shoulder, foot, ankle and knee, focusing on correcting faulty movement patterns to restore pain-free function. She has been with OA since 2013.

“As a former athlete, I empathize with my patients’ desires to return to various activities/sports after being set back by limitations of both minor and serious injuries. I enjoy the challenge and diversity of treating a wide variety of dysfunctions in order to allow someone to return to their normal life or favorite activity. My goal is to utilize manual therapy techniques to decrease discomfort. In addition, I strive to educate patients on optimal movement patterns to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent future injuries.”
